This Privacy Policy explains how Ai-PEX Wisdom, LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company doing business as Etzava (“Etzava,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects information when you use the Etzava website, platform, and AI-driven decision-support tool (the “Service”). It is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Service.
Etzava is built around a simple promise: your decisions are yours. We do not sell your information, we do not share your session content with advertisers, and we never use your decisions to train artificial-intelligence models. The sections below describe how we honor that promise in practice.
This Policy applies to the Service. It does not apply to third-party websites, applications, services, or platforms that we do not control, even if they link to or from the Service.
The table below summarizes the categories of information we collect, examples of each category, where the information comes from, why we use it, and the general retention approach. We collect only what we believe is reasonably necessary to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the Service, process payments, communicate with you, comply with law, and enforce our Terms.
| Category | Examples | Sources | Primary uses | Provider categories / retention |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Identifiers and account information | Email address, account ID, authentication/sign-in metadata. | You and our systems. | Create and authenticate your account; deliver one-time sign-in links; secure the Service. | Email delivery, hosting, infrastructure, and security providers. Retained while your account exists and as needed for legal, security, or business records. |
| Decision content / User Content | The decision you bring, questions you pose, text you type during a session, saved decisions, AI outputs, and session-specific reflections or inferences generated to respond to you. | You and the Service. | Generate and display responses; save, reopen, delete, and export saved decisions; operate, secure, troubleshoot, and maintain the Service; comply with law and enforce our Terms. | AI processing, hosting, database, infrastructure, security, and support providers. Saved decisions are automatically deleted 30 days after your last activity on them unless you delete them sooner, subject to the backup, legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, and security limits described below. |
| Sensitive information you choose to provide | Information you voluntarily include about health, mental health, family, finances, employment, religion, sex life, sexual orientation, reproductive decisions, addiction, immigration, legal disputes, or other highly personal matters. | You. | Processed only as part of your decision content to provide, secure, maintain, and support the Service; comply with law; and enforce our Terms. | Same as decision content. We do not use sensitive information for advertising, cross-context behavioral advertising, sale, AI-model training, or profiling unrelated to your session. |
| Payment and commercial information | Session-credit purchases, transaction IDs, receipts, billing metadata, refunds, chargebacks, tax records, and related payment records. Stripe collects payment-card details. | You and Stripe. | Process payments; issue receipts; administer credits; prevent fraud; handle disputes; comply with accounting, tax, and legal obligations. | Stripe and, as needed, accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, and infrastructure providers. Retained as needed for accounting, tax, legal, dispute-resolution, and legitimate business purposes. |
| Communications | Emails, support requests, feedback-form submissions, phone messages, and related correspondence. | You. | Respond to your requests; provide support; investigate issues; maintain business records. | Email delivery, support, hosting, and infrastructure providers. Retained as needed for support, legal, dispute-resolution, and business purposes. |
| Usage and feature events | Content-free records of which steps and features are used, event names, timestamps, counts, and your account identifier. These do not include what you type. | Automatically from the Service. | Operate, troubleshoot, monitor, and improve reliability and performance; prevent abuse. | Hosting, analytics, infrastructure, security, debugging, and error-monitoring providers. Retained as operationally needed. |
| Token counts | Per-request counts of AI tokens processed. These are numbers only, not the underlying text. | Automatically from the Service. | Cost monitoring; reliability; debugging; abuse prevention; fair-use management. | AI processing, hosting, infrastructure, logging, and security providers. Retained as operationally needed. |
| Analytics and attribution data | Anonymous aggregate page-view analytics; first-touch campaign tags such as UTM parameters or click identifiers on inbound links. | Your browser, device, and inbound campaign links. | Understand site usage and which campaigns bring people to Etzava without tracking you across the web. | Hosting and analytics providers. Retained as configured for aggregate analytics and campaign measurement. |
| Technical and security data | IP address, browser type, device information, standard server logs, security logs, and limited cookies or similar technologies necessary to operate the Service and keep you signed in. | Your browser, device, and our systems. | Operate, secure, debug, and maintain the Service; detect abuse, fraud, and security incidents; keep you signed in. | Hosting, infrastructure, security, logging, and debugging providers. Retained as needed for operations, security, legal, and business purposes. |
Payment details. When you purchase session credits, Stripe collects your payment details. Stripe is configured to act as both Etzava’s payment processor and merchant of record. We never receive or store your full payment-card number.
No passwords. To use the Service you provide an email address. We do not store a password. You sign in through a one-time link sent to your email.
We use the information described above to:
Your decision content is sent, encrypted in transit, to our AI infrastructure provider, Anthropic, whose Claude models power each council member, to generate the responses you receive. Anthropic processes this content under its commercial API terms, which do not permit training on customer content by default. AI-provider retention, if any, is governed by our account configuration and the provider’s applicable commercial terms.
We do not use your decision content to train, fine-tune, or develop any AI model, and we do not authorize any third party to do so. We use your decision content only to provide the Service to you; operate, secure, troubleshoot, maintain, and support the Service; respond to requests you make; investigate suspected abuse, fraud, or security incidents; comply with law; enforce our Terms; and as otherwise described in this Policy.
Saved decision content and human access. Etzava personnel do not review your decision content in the ordinary course. Your saved decisions are stored in our database (hosted by our infrastructure provider) and are encrypted at rest at the infrastructure level; they are not end-to-end encrypted, which means authorized Etzava personnel and service providers are technically able to access stored content. We limit that access to circumstances where it is necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, or maintain the Service; to respond to a support request you make; to investigate suspected abuse, fraud, or security incidents; to comply with law; or to enforce our Terms. Such access is restricted to authorized individuals and service providers with a need to know, and your saved decisions are visible to you when you sign in and are not shown to other users.
No automated decisions about you. Etzava does not use your personal information to make automated decisions about your eligibility for employment, housing, credit, insurance, education, healthcare, public benefits, legal rights, or other similarly significant matters. The Service generates reflections and perspectives for you; it does not approve, deny, rank, score, or make decisions about you.
Etzava is a personal decision-support tool, and you may choose to include information that is sensitive or highly personal. We do not require you to provide more sensitive information than is necessary to use the Service, and you should avoid entering information you do not want processed. If you choose to include sensitive information in your decision content, we use it only to provide, secure, maintain, and support the Service; comply with law; and enforce our Terms. We do not use sensitive information for advertising, cross-context behavioral advertising, sale, AI-model training, or profiling unrelated to your session.
Etzava is not a healthcare provider, therapist, counselor, health plan, or healthcare clearinghouse, and the Service is not intended to collect or process protected health information. You should not submit medical records, insurance records, or other regulated health information unless you understand that Etzava is not providing healthcare services. If you choose to include health-related information in your decision content, we process it as described in this Policy.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your session content with advertisers or advertising platforms. We share information only as follows:
We do not use advertising pixels or trackers, and we do not share your activity with advertising platforms. Any advertising we run (for example, on third-party social platforms) is measured using campaign tags on our own inbound links, not by tracking you across the web.
We do not upload customer lists, email addresses, hashed identifiers, decision content, or session activity to advertising platforms. We do not use advertising pixels, conversion APIs, retargeting tags, or cross-site tracking technologies. If we change this practice, we will update this Policy before the change takes effect and provide any legally required choices.
We use anonymous, aggregate page-view analytics through Vercel Analytics and content-free operational events to understand the performance and reliability of the Service. These analytics do not include what you type in a decision session.
Each decision you create is saved automatically to your account — your question and the council’s responses — so that an interruption does not cause you to lose your work and so you can return to a decision after time to think. Saved decisions are deleted automatically thirty (30) days after your last activity on them, through a routine automated purge. You may also delete any individual decision, or your entire account, at any time.
Before you sign in. You can begin a decision — describe it, receive a reflection, and see your proposed council — without an account. If you then request a sign-in link, what you have entered is held briefly on our servers, keyed to a random token, solely so your in-progress decision can be restored when you sign in. This held content is deleted the moment you claim it, and in any event automatically within 48 hours. It is used for no other purpose. To protect this pre-sign-in feature from abuse, we apply rate limits keyed to a salted, one-way hash of your IP address; the hash cannot be reversed to your IP address, is stored separately from any content, and these rate-limit records are deleted within two (2) days.
When you delete a saved decision or account, we delete the relevant decision content from active systems. Deletion is intended to be permanent from active user-accessible systems. Copies may remain for a limited period in encrypted backups, security logs, or records retained for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or security purposes, and are deleted or overwritten according to our retention schedules. We do not use backup copies of deleted decision content to provide the Service, train AI models, advertise, or create profiles.
We retain limited operational, security, and transactional records, such as payment records, tax and accounting records, security logs, and content-free usage logs, for as long as needed for legitimate business, accounting, security, dispute-resolution, and legal purposes.
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption of decision content in transit and encryption at rest at the infrastructure level, access controls, and operational security practices designed to limit access to authorized individuals and service providers with a need to know. Saved decisions are not end-to-end encrypted, as described above.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a security incident involving your personal information, we will investigate and provide notices to affected users, regulators, or others as required by applicable law.
Controls available to all users. Regardless of where you live, you can access your saved decisions, export saved decisions, delete any saved decision, delete your whole account, and contact us with privacy questions at hello@etzava.com.
Legal rights. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may also have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, request access or a copy, request correction, request deletion, request portability, restrict or object to certain processing, appeal a denied request, designate an authorized agent where applicable law allows, and be free from discrimination for exercising your privacy rights. Because we do not sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, no opt-out of sale or sharing is necessary.
To exercise privacy rights, email hello@etzava.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding. If we deny a request and applicable law gives you an appeal right, you may appeal by replying to our decision email with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line. We will respond to privacy requests as required by applicable law.
The Service is intended only for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to use it. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it. If you believe a minor has provided us personal information, contact hello@etzava.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete the information. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify the request.
The Service is intended for users located in the United States. We do not intentionally offer the Service to users outside the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction.
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the revised Policy on the Service, update the “Last Updated” date above, and provide additional notice or obtain consent where required by law. The revised Policy will apply as described in the notice.
